Nate was first drawn to this work after his dad experienced a series of unexpected strokes and there were few resources available to help modify his home for safety, comfort, and long-term independence. That experience shaped his understanding of how overwhelming the process can be for families, especially families living at a distance, and inspired him to make it easier for other families.

As a licensed contractor and Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), Nate manages the full project lifecycle for home modifications, from the initial consultation to planning, construction, and final walkthrough. Nate coordinates timelines and manages subcontractors, materials, and inspections to ensure each job runs smoothly and aligns with the client's needs and vision. Known for his calm, steady, and comprehensive approach, Nate is committed to helping clients feel informed and supported every step of the way.

Hannah's great grandmother's one wish was to never have to go to a nursing home. Her family found a way to honor this wish, helping her great-grandmother age in place with her grandmother until the age of 101. That experience reaffirmed for Hannah that with the right planning, supports, and environment, aging in place can be made safe, simple, empowering, and possible. For Hannah, honoring the legacy of her grandmother and great-grandmother means helping others create homes where they, too, can age in place.

At Onni Home, Hannah leads the consultation process with clients and families. She takes time to understand each person's unique needs, strengths, and goals, identifying opportunities to make their home safer, more accessible, and better aligned with their needs, lifestyle, and what matters most. Hannah brings warmth, clear guidance, and thoughtful solutions to help families navigate the aging in place process with confidence.

Some of Aaron’s most vivid childhood memories are of visiting his grandmother and great-grandmother, who lived together and chose to age in place. He remembers sitting at the kitchen table with them, reading the Finnish newspaper and shaping loaves of pulla, a traditional Finnish yeasted bread, as the scent of cardamom filled the house. That kitchen, warm, familiar, and functional, left a lasting impression on what a well-designed home can mean across generations.

At Onni Home, Aaron leads research and development, where he brings his expertise in data systems and user-centered design to life. He develops and implements the data infrastructure for Onni Home's Live Well Dashboard. As the architect behind the Live Well Dashboard, Aaron is continually refining the platform to make it more intuitive and impactful for families.
